Orthodontics & Aligners in New Cairo

Fixed braces or clear aligners — planned around the whole bite, not the front teeth alone.

Orthodontic treatment at Starla takes one to two and a half years on average, using fixed braces — metal or ceramic — or removable clear aligners. Which route applies, how long it will take and what it costs are decided at the first assessment, after imaging and measurements.

Orthodontics is not only straightening the teeth people see. It is moving teeth within the jaw so the bite itself works: how the upper and lower teeth meet, how load is shared across them, and the shape of the smile that follows from both.

There are two broad routes — fixed appliances (metal or ceramic, bonded to the teeth) and removable clear aligners taken out to eat and clean. Both get to a result, but not every case suits both, and which one applies is decided at the first assessment, after imaging and measurements.

That first visit is an assessment: photographs, x-rays and a bite analysis, followed by a written plan setting out the expected duration, the stages and the cost before anything is fitted. No step happens before it has been explained.

Orthodontics is a long treatment — typically one to two and a half years depending on the case. The result rests on two things: keeping to the appointments, and wearing the retainer once the appliance comes off. Without a retainer teeth drift back over time, and that is said at the start rather than at the end.
